Hugh Duffy

Along with fellow Irishman Tommy McCarthy, Hugh Duffy was known as one of Boston's "Heavenly Twins" during the 1890s. Duffy's phenomenal performance reached the ethereal in 1894, when he won the unofficial Triple Crown with 18 home runs, 145 RBIs and a staggering .438 batting average. For good measure, Duffy also led the National League in doubles and slugging percentage that year.
