Early Advertising on the Outfield Wall

The Brooklyn Tip Tops, shown at right in a pregame ceremony with the Buffalo Bisons, played in Washington Park, the Dodger's old facility, for two years of their existence in the Federal League.

Note the advertisements on the outfield wall, including one for BVD underwear and one for Stetson hats. A public service announcement at right reminds fans to mind their manners because "Base Ball Players are all human" and "so that the ladies may find it pleasant" to be at the ballpark.
