Baseball on Amchitka Island, the Aleutians, 1943

Army Air Force service members play a pick-up game of baseball while stationed on the Aleutian Islands. It looks like the spectators in the foreground are nestled up against the tents to stay out of the wind but in the background are a couple guys on the hillside kicking back in the tundra grass.
